HOW IT WORKS
You'll relax while I work my magic creating images of your baby's first days, and of course siblings and family if you wish.
I take a £50 deposit to secure your session which is then taken off the package price.
Please contact me from your 12 week scan to book using your due date. Then once your baby arrives we will arrange your session. Preferably as close to 5 days old as possible.
If you have only just found me and you have already had your little one, please message me and we can arrange your session.
For sleepy pictures I recommend that your session takes place between 5-21 days old. For babies over 21 days old, I will of course still photograph them it just means certain poses may not be possible depending on how baby sleeps.
After your session I will send you a link to your private password protected online gallery where you can see and download your images. Your prints will come in the post separately.

FAQ
Are you fully qualified in photography?
A.Yes. I have an A Level and a Bachelor of Arts Honour Degree in Photography.
I have been photographing newborns since 2019.
Do I have to pay a deposit to book?
A.I take a £50 deposit to secure your session which is then taken off the package price.
The remaining amount due is to be paid 1 week prior to your wedding date. This balance can be paid in instalments or in full,.
When should I book my session?
A.You can book your newborn session from as early as your 12 week scan, right through until after baby is here.
Booking in advance is recommended.
What age should my newborn be?
A.The prime time for your newborn photography session is between 5-14 days old.
If this is not possible, older babies are fine, they just may not be quite as sleepy.
If your little one is awake and happy we can also take this time to capture some of their amazing expressions.
How do I prepare for my newborn session?
A.Before your newborn session you will receive an information document that will include tips on how to prepare.
How long does the session last?
A.Newborn sessions usually last anything from 2-4 hours.
This allows plenty of time for your baby to feed and for any nappy changes or winding. We don't want baby to feel rushed.
There are refreshments such as tea/coffee, water, juice and chocolates. There are toilets just outside the studio also.
There is a very comfortable sofa for parents and siblings to sit on. Most of whom generally end up snoring!
How long does it take to receive my images?
A.Your online gallery will usually be ready between 2-3 weeks after your session date.
My baby is already born, is it too late to have a session?
A.The prime time for your newborn photography session is between 5-14 days old.
It is absolutely fine if your baby is already born. If they are older than 14 days, this is still fine.
The main difference is that babies tend to be not as sleepy after 14 days and sometimes don't like being wrapped/moved as much.
If your little one is awake and happy we can also take this time to capture some of their amazing expressions.
Will you be handling my baby?
A.Yes. Throughout the session I will handle your baby.
I will settle baby, pose baby and create the images you hope for.
If baby needs you, then of course I will hand baby back for feeding etc.
All you need to do is sit back and relax.
(Snoring is allowed and has happened many times!)
My baby has flakey skin. Is this a problem?
A.Absolutely not a problem. Almost all newborns have flaky skin to some extent.
If you would like me to reduce the visibility of the flakes in the images I can do.
