RELAXED, NATURAL & WARM WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
I don’t believe in stiff poses, instead, I focus on creating a space where you can simply be yourself to make your photos feel real. I’ll gently guide you so you feel at ease and know what we’re working toward, but the beauty lies in the natural moments that unfold on their own.
Natural movements, the soft glances you don't even notice, genuine laughter - those are the things I love to capture. Each photograph becomes an honest reflection of your day, something you’ll hold close for years to come.
GETTING TO KNOW YOU
Before the big day, I always recommend a pre-wedding catch-up. Whether it’s over the phone, a video call, or meeting in person for a coffee, a pint, or even a walk, it’s a great chance for us to connect. We’ll go through the timings of your day, chat through any questions you might have, and make sure everything feels clear and relaxed. By the time your wedding arrives, you’ll already feel comfortable with me behind the camera, so you can just enjoy your day while I take care of the rest.

A second photographer works alongside me throughout your wedding day, capturing everything from different angles and perspectives. While I'm focused on the key moments, they'll be documenting natural guest interactions, genuine reactions and all the little moments happening around us, resulting in even more candid, storytelling images.
I work with a small team of incredibly talented photographers who regularly second shoot with me, so we work seamlessly together throughout the day.
If your budget allows, I highly recommend adding a second photographer, especially for weddings with 60+ guests. The extra coverage makes a huge difference and helps tell the full story of your day.

If you're booking me for your wedding photography, you can also choose to add a highlights video set to royalty-free music that captures all the best bits of your day in a relaxed, natural way. I shoot it alongside your photos, so there’s no extra planning, no extra team, and no awkward mics—just a beautifully edited video that’s easy to watch, fun to share, and something you’ll love looking back on for years to come again and again.
Please be aware, video highlight films are only available to add-on to a photography collection, not a standalone service. Photography will always take priority over video where necessary.

If you’re looking for a full-length, polished wedding video that includes full speeches, ceremony coverage, and live audio, I’d recommend booking a dedicated videographer. My highlights video is a shorter, music-led film focused on capturing key moments throughout the day in a more relaxed, natural style.
I work alongside different videographers who I can contact to arrange.

FAQ
Are you fully qualified in photography?
I have both an A Level, and a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree from Sheffield Hallam University.
I have also been a wedding photographer since 2014, opening my own photo studio in 2021.
Do I have to pay a deposit to book?
The non-refundable deposit is 20% of the chosen package. This is to be paid when securing your wedding date. If you need to wait till payday I understand booking a wedding is expensive so your date will be provisionally held.
When does the full payment need to be paid?
The remaining balance must be paid 2 full weeks prior to your wedding day. However this can be paid as and when before your wedding. If you'd like to pay in instalments to help budget that is absolutely fine. .
Can we meet before we book?
Yes definitely. I love to meet couples in person. I usually meet my clients at a coffee shop, or at the wedding venue wherever possible. If meeting in person is not possible I usually recommend a video call such as FaceTime or Facebook Messenger etc..
Do you travel?
Yes I will definitely travel, there is no limit! I've been to the Cotswolds and up the complete opposite way to Ayrshire so the sky is the limit! Travel may be an added charge depending on how far your venue is from me! If your venue is too far away for me to drive there and back the same day then I would also need an overnight stay included.
How long does it take to receive my images/ USB/ album?
This depends on the time of the year and how busy I am with other photoshoots. I usually say allow 6-8 week turnaround, but this may be different depending on quieter/busier periods. I will always keep you updated on when I expect you will receive your final photos. Your USB/Album lead times will be communicated at the time your photos are completed.
I hate having photos and I'm really worried about this..
This is absolutely fine, I totally understand and most of my clients say the same. My style is very natural and unobtrusive so you won't be stood 'posing' for the camera which is what most people hate and feel awkward with. This is why I love to get to know you before the wedding so we can have a chat about this sort of thing.
Will we miss out on wedding photographs if you are creating a wedding film alongside taking pictures?
The photography and video film work seamlessly together, and I'm able to switch smoothly between the two throughout the day, however photography will always take priority over the highlights video.
Re Highlights Film: Do you capture the full ceremony and speeches?
I do not record sound when shooting a highlights video, therefore I may capture snippets but no sound will be present so the entire speech/ ceremony will not be filmed.
