Inkersall Grange Farm Wedding Photography | Kimberley & Harrison’s Beautiful Summer Wedding in Newark

Kimberley and Harrison’s summer wedding at Inkersall Grange Farm in Newark was one I had been looking forward to for such a long time. I first spoke to them at their friends’ wedding a couple of years earlier, so when they later got in touch about photographing their own wedding, it meant so much to me. Recommendations from previous couples and their friends will always be incredibly special, and being invited back to capture another wedding within the same circle of people is such a lovely feeling.

I had seen photographs of Inkersall Grange Farm before their wedding and already thought it looked beautiful, but seeing it in person completely blew me away. Set within the Nottinghamshire countryside in Bilsthorpe, Newark, it is an absolutely stunning wedding venue with so much character, beautiful open spaces and gorgeous scenery everywhere you look.

It was the perfect setting for Kimberley and Harrison’s relaxed summer wedding. The whole day had such an easy-going, chilled atmosphere, with everyone simply enjoying being together and celebrating them. Their guests were so lovely and there was a genuine warmth throughout the entire day.

One of the things that made Inkersall Grange Farm so memorable was being surrounded by the countryside and animals throughout the day. We spotted wild deer and were visited by plenty of horses, which made exploring the grounds for photographs even more special. Those unexpected little moments are always some of my favourites to capture and added so much personality to their wedding photographs.

And I absolutely have to mention the food! After photographing so many weddings over the years, I can genuinely say the food at Inkersall Grange Farm was some of the best I have ever had at a wedding. Everything was absolutely delicious and just added to how impressed I was with the venue from beginning to end.

But the most special part of the day was finally getting to watch Kimberley and Harrison get married. From the conversations and calls we'd had in the lead-up to their wedding, I knew just how excited Kim was for the day to finally arrive. Seeing everything they had been looking forward to come together and watching them become husband and wife was such a lovely moment.

Having their two young children there made it even more meaningful. Seeing them smiling from ear to ear as they watched their Mummy and Daddy get married was genuinely one of the sweetest moments of the entire wedding. Those are the little memories that happen in seconds but become some of the most precious photographs to look back on.

What I loved most about Kimberley and Harrison’s wedding was how relaxed everything felt. Nothing felt overly formal or staged. It was simply a beautiful summer day centred around getting married, spending time with their children, family and friends, eating incredible food and enjoying every moment together.

These are exactly the kinds of wedding days I love to capture. Of course the big moments matter, but so do all the little things happening around them. Children watching their parents get married, guests laughing together, unexpected visits from horses and all those natural interactions that couldn't be planned even if you tried.

Kimberley and Harrison’s wedding at Inkersall Grange Farm was warm, relaxed and full of love from beginning to end. After looking forward to their wedding for so long, it was such a privilege to finally see them tie the knot and capture all of these memories for their family.
