Whirlow Brook Hall Recommended Wedding Photographer | Cyrus & Oisin’s Summer Wedding in Sheffield

Cyrus and Oisin’s wedding at Whirlow Brook Hall in Sheffield was one of those days that simply radiated happiness. From the sunshine that filled the gardens to the warmth shared between their family and friends, every part of the day felt like a celebration of love, laughter and two families coming together.

As a Sheffield wedding photographer, Whirlow Brook Hall is always one of my favourite venues to photograph, which is one of the reasons I am a recommended supplier there. Set within beautiful parkland, it offers the perfect mix of elegant interiors and stunning gardens, making it a wonderful setting for couples looking for a relaxed yet timeless wedding venue in South Yorkshire.

At this wedding my husband (Bradley) assisted me as a second photographer. From the moment we arrived, Bradley and I were made to feel so incredibly welcome. It never felt like we were simply there to photograph the day. Everyone was so kind and inclusive that it genuinely felt like we had become part of the celebrations alongside them, which made documenting the day feel even more special.

One of my favourite parts of the wedding was seeing Cyrus' Chinese heritage woven so naturally throughout the day alongside traditional English wedding customs. It was such a lovely reminder that every wedding tells its own unique story, and I always feel incredibly privileged to experience and capture family traditions that are so meaningful to each couple.

Of course, no blog about this wedding would be complete without mentioning Gouda. Their gorgeous dog completely stole the show and was adored by everyone. From greeting guests to joining in with the celebrations, she brought so much personality to the day and made for some of the sweetest moments to photograph.

What I loved most about Cyrus and Oisin's wedding was how effortlessly joyful it felt. There was so much genuine happiness in every room, with family and friends celebrating not just the wedding itself, but everything the day represented. Every conversation, every hug and every laugh reflected just how loved these two are by the people around them.

The beautiful summer sunshine meant guests could spend much of the day enjoying the gardens at Whirlow Brook Hall, creating such a relaxed atmosphere that carried right through into the evening celebrations.

As a Yorkshire wedding photographer, these are always the weddings I love documenting most. Days that aren't about perfectly posed photographs, but about preserving the atmosphere, the emotion and all of those moments that happen naturally throughout the day.
