The Maynard Wedding Photographer | Molly & Cameron’s Summer Wedding in the Peak District

Molly and Cameron’s summer wedding at The Maynard in Grindleford was such a gorgeous, relaxed day from beginning to end. Set in the heart of the Peak District and surrounded by their favourite people, their wedding was all about getting married, celebrating and having a really good time together.

As a Peak District wedding photographer, The Maynard is such a beautiful venue to photograph. Set in the village of Grindleford and surrounded by the Derbyshire countryside, you get incredible views and gorgeous outdoor spaces alongside an elegant, welcoming venue full of character.

Molly and Cameron’s wedding suited it perfectly. The whole day had such an easy-going atmosphere, with everyone laughing, enjoying themselves and simply getting stuck into the celebrations. Nothing felt overly formal or staged, which made it perfect for capturing all those natural moments and reactions throughout the day.

And then came the undercover waiters...

What started as a normal wedding meal quickly turned into one of the highlights of the day when the undercover waiters revealed themselves. Before long, the whole room was involved, with guests singing, dancing and waving napkins in the air. They absolutely got the party started and the atmosphere was brilliant!

With the Peak District countryside right on the doorstep, we also had the most beautiful surroundings for Molly and Cameron’s photographs. Rather than turning their wedding into a photoshoot, we could make the most of the scenery while keeping everything relaxed and allowing them to get straight back to enjoying their day.

Molly and Cameron’s wedding at The Maynard was exactly what a summer wedding should be. Relaxed, full of laughter and finished off with one seriously good party. It was such a pleasure to capture it all.
